I fucking love Nylon, I dont know why but i have a strong feeling that this spring I'm gonna wear it alot more than i used to. Personally i would love to have a postal windbreaker but I'm big into this uniform thing so that may not be your steez, but still dont sleep on this fabric.

Now I've been flying around the internet for a little while and ive seen alot of blogspot blogs with normal URLs instead of .blogspot.com URLs. Naturally i thought itd be pretty awesome to have one of those, so i tried to find out what i needed to do to make my site look more official. It's a pretty easy process, just change the URL and hope no one else already has it, but it costs 10 dollars. Now i thought to myself, people dont read my blog now, and making it a regular .com wouldnt make a difference, so why would I pay 10 dollars to change something so superficial? So i decided to just keep the blogspot and save 10 dollars.

Fashion Websites kind of suck

In these tough economic times, everyone is talking about ways to save money, McDonalds Ad's run more and more frequently, I actually saw a story on the news about women resorting to prostitution, they actually had cameras with them as they went to the brothel! Yes everyones feeling the pinch, but apparently fashion websites act as if everyones fucking loaded. I was on hypebeast earlier today and saw a watch that cost 21,000 dollars, who the fuck is buying that watch? I'm sure maybe like 5 percent of the people who go on hypebeast can afford that, and im not knocking them for all i kno they probably earned that money, or at least fucked the right combination of people to get themselves to a fortune. But what i am knockin is the people at hypebeast who put up 10 articles a day, and 6-7 of them are high end brands, and its not just hypebeast, websites everywhere love talking about the most expensive clothes. Do they not see that niggas are broke these days? Turn the TV on and watch a woman cry about losing her house or a 90 year old guy coming out of retirement because he lost all his money, watch that shit, then try to tell me i should drop 400 dollars on a pair of sneakers. Get the fuck out of here.

They could at least post up some of the knock off shit from express everyones gonna cop instead of this high priced shit.

Ode to Gucci Mane

Now your probably wondering, "Tawanda (hey yall said my name!) who the fuck is this semi-retarded out of shape looking motherfucker" unless your from the south in which you'd recognize the mane known as Gucci. Yes Gucci Mane is the man of the hour my friends, he's currently in jail for breaking the terms of his probation for shooting 2 men. Whats really notable about him is that in his probation agreement, he cant smoke weed, drink alcohol or do anything else of the such. However in every video you see him in he's smoking at least 2-3 blunts. He actually was sent back to jail because of the fact that he failed his drug test, but from the looks of his videos, he probably didnt care to begin with. Fashion Trends I'm gonna hate soon

I like to consider myself a fashionable person, I spend hours looking at clothes and thinking up outfits, unfortunately the costs of good gear is going up so i cant buy as much as id like. However this helped me avoid lots of bad decisions (throwbacks, girbauds, all over hats, Supras etc). This avoidance of bad ideas has taught me how to tell what trends are gonna be killed and what trend will last. Heres my predictions for the spring of 2009:



Vans Authentics
I'm pretty sure that by May I'll want to set all of these on fire, but not before I buy a pair of my own that I'll probably regret.



Leggings
These have been around for a little while and I enjoyed them as much as the next guy, but i guarantee that after i see camel toes than Ali Babba and the 40 Thieves, I'll wish that these girls just hanged themselves with them. Next Trend:

Now I've wanted to move to LA for the past year now, and as soon as i get the chance I'll be off like a David Alan Greer Show, i love their steez, the relaxed enviroment, the rap, kush, but the problem is they love it too, and love to brag about it. I just wanna say to the, that i get it, your awesome, we on the east suck, but please stop rubbing it in, being a douchebag is never in style. Yes this isnt a west coast tee, I know this, i just didnt wanna give these narcissistic douchebags the satisfaction by puttin another west coast shirt on the internet. Take That! Next!




Snap Back hats
So i think the lesson people learned from the last couple of years is that clothing from the 80s is really cool, but wearing all 80s shit at the same time isnt cool. The Snap Back hat is 80s but not too 80s. Honestly, i think these are really hot, but just like that one girl you really like who you really think is made for you, everyone else probably thinks it hot too. Unfortunately, it'll be alot easier for everyone to get their hands on these unlike the girl (unless she's a whore). Onward!



These were hot in the 80s and not in the 90s, but now theyve slowly begun picking up steam, like i said to the young republicans club in high school, I think i'll pass on this membership* (*i actually said a black man joining the young republicans is an oxymoron)

Yea so i cant think of any other future trends I'm gonna hate, also I'm worried that I'm gonna be wrong about every single one and ill start wearing all of these said things, so i dont wanna sound too hypocritical. But still i think 4 is enough.
